  • Ebb and Flow of Power

Gender equality is almost upon us. This is a good thing. This is what we as a higher society should thrive for. But we know that things don’t always rise and fall equally across all parties.

I foresee full gender equality bringing all things governed half by women, half by men. A 50/50 split. Each side having the same amount of pulling power.

We can think “Wow the ratio went from in terms of control and power 30%Female/70%Male to 50%Female/%50Male over a large period of time!” But I wonder…. Why would the women’s gaining of control and power just stop at 50/50? To even be gaining power in a system not in favor of you requires a movement of monstrous proportions. How can a movement of that scale just stop at 50/50? No one person can just halt it’s hive like momentum.

It wont stop at 50/50. It will increase on one side until it rubber bands back in the other direction.

You say “But Males will just never vote/deal with anything giving up on their 50% and it will stay 50/50 once it gets to across the board equality.”

I feel different about it. We have our (both men and women) rights negated and lives invaded/restricted every year more and more at the present. I don’t see any way it will stop without many huge unlikely events occurring. It doesn’t feel like such a stretch that Males(or any group) might give way majority to something that may restrict them in some way (resulting in lose of power/control) when you think of what’s happened before.

The technology/social revolution is changing the power/social structure and will continue to do so. Men’s natural advantages are of no real use in the new tech/social world. While Women’s natural attributes/advantages are integrating nicely with these revolutions. Another plus in the already strong and progressing Women’s movement.
